Help raise money for CCA Oregon where the highest bidder will win a 4-day, 5-night fishing vacation for two people in beautiful British Columbia’s Winter Harbour fishing with Winter Harbour Ocean Adventures.

Your host Pat Hoglund is asking two people to spend four days with him and captain Martin Geh, owner of Winter Harbour Ocean Adventures salmon fishing in beautiful British Columbia’s Winter Harbour. There you’ll fish for salmon, halibut, lingcod and rockfish where Pat will capture your fishing trip and write about your adventure in Salmon & Steelhead Journal. The story will include photos of your trip in an 8-page spread in an upcoming issue.

One of the premiere British Columbia salmon fisheries, Winter Harbour is located on the Northwest corner of Vancouver Island. There, you’ll fish in the inshore waters close to Quatsino Sound where the salmon can be found feeding on schools of herring and needlefish accentuated by majestic views of the rugged coastline.

Included in this four-day fishing trip are flights from Vancouver, B.C. to Port Hardy. You will arrive on July 10^th and depart on July 15^th.  Round trip airfare on Pacific Coastal Airlines from Vancouver, B.C. to Port Hardy. Transportation from Port Hardy to the lodge is included.

These dates are during the prime chinook season where the average size runs 20 pounds. There is a chance for early-returning silvers and a plethora of lingcod, rockfish and halibut.

A valid passport is required for entry into Canada.

Catch Limits:

Salmon: 4 in possession, 2 per day.

Lingcod: 6 in possession, 3 per day

Rockfish: 6 in possession, 3 per day

Halibut: 1 halibut up to 126 cm (70-80 lbs.) or 2 halibut up to 85 cm.

• Transportation from Port Hardy to the lodge.
• Accommodation in a luxury ocean-front lodge.

• Each traveler is allowed one carry-on size bag. Additional bags cost $42.00 which can be paid at check in.
• Anticipate paying for at least one fish box on your return flight.
• Note: It’s recommended to secure lodging in Vancouver, B.C. on July 9^th in preparation for the July 10^th flight departure at 8:45 a.m. Return flight on July 15^th arrives in Vancouver, B.C. at 11:30 a.m.
